Final Assignment

Hello all,
It has been a great year and I have really enjoyed teaching you this semester. You were a great group and it was wonderful to see the amazing level of creativity in the class.

I really can't believe that today is the last class! It is almost sad! I really came to enjoy Grayson's singing, Cody's Blogs (some, definitely not all!) and Kyle's inability to stay on task. Jared had an great eye for detail and used it, sometimes.

The girls were great too. Courtney, you need to go into the arts!! Brittany, you have a wonderful way of saying what is on your mind; sometimes were better than others. Jamie, your pelican/toucan is great! Maybe we should change our school mascot. Miss Jenna, keep up the great picture taking!

Since none of you have finished your portfolio, like you should have :) I am going to change the assignment.

Each of you needs to use 6 photos. You can put them in a prezi or powerpoint; whichever you prefer.

For each of the photos you need to tell me which element it used and explain how the picture exemplifies it. Then add any details that you think are necessary.

I hope that makes it a bit easier; but remember, you only have today to do it and hand it in.

I found out how to embed your prezi into your blog! So up in the right corner when you are composing your blog post, you will see Edit Html. click on that and then paste the embed code that you got from the prezi site.

To get the embed code you need to clcik the "embed" button underneath your finished prezi.

Assignment 1

Assignment 1 is listed in the last post and is fairly self guided. With that said, you will be doing most of the legwork for this assignment independently. But I thought that I would give you some information to help you guide your studies. Here are some websites that will be helpful in creating your powerpoint (assignment 1).

When you have completed an assignment, please ensure that you let me know and then save it in the common folder (I:) -> Photography 10 -> assignment 1. Ensure that your file name has your name in it so that I can assess your work.

Welcome to Photography 10

Hello all,

I want to formally welcome you to photography 10. I am really looking forward to witnessing, first hand, the creativity that we have here at Two Hills School.

I know that we will have a great semester. Hard work and creativity will be rewarded; however, people that think this class will be without work are sadly mistaken.

Photography is not just taking a picture. You will learn the basics in class, but will need to put your effort into creating a finished product that will be displayed. Take pride in your work and don't be afraid to let your true creativity shine. That work ethic and determination is what will make you a better photographer.

Now that we have that all said and done; let's get snappin'!
